Spiral of Injustice

BOISE, IDAHO This free-standing sculpture located at the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial represents a person perceived as not belonging, or “the Other”, enveloped in a downward spiral of human behavior. The words “language, avoidance, discrimination, violence, and elimination” are inscribed on the spiral in Braille, Spanish, English, Arabic, and Chinese.

BOISE, IDAHO Created for Fire Station 8 in Boise, this piece signals the station’s calls to the Overland Road community with light and sound. The design uses strong graphics associated with the community and the firehouse to show the vital connections between the two.

GREELEY, COLORADO A free standing sculpture created for the Uptown Tree Project in Greeley, CO, this design embodies the idea of technology in a tree-like form. The three large panels, each unique and depicting beautiful electronic patterns of circuitry, have two sides per panel that encapsulate a sheet of green acrylic.

BOISE, IDAHO Inspired by the constant service our firefighters dedicate to the community, the design of this functioning sundial sculpture incorporates details representing the mission of the fire station. The sundial’s daytime shadow, the Maltese Cross, and the Helmet light at night to signify the continuous hours firefighters devote to the cause.
