A didactive piece commemorating the City of Nampa in the heart of downtown in Lloyd Square, this three dimensional, lighted sign contains verbiage inside the letters consisting of key figures, places and events representing Nampa’s culture and history. The community’s input was used to decide exact verbiage to be included in the letters, making it a truly interactive public art piece. The bottom of the ‘N” was cut to be the shape of Idaho to add more to the site-specificity.
