BOISE, IDAHO
This free-standing sculpture located at the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial represents a person perceived as not belonging, or “the Other”, enveloped in a downward spiral of human behavior. The words “language, avoidance, discrimination, violence, and elimination” are inscribed on the spiral in Braille, Spanish, English, Arabic, and Chinese.
